My hope is that 'Love Untethered' might help others who have suffered a devastating loss and that they will be able to relate to my story and maybe find some of the advice offered to be of benefit.

I also hope it will be of interest to anyone who just likes to read about other people’s 'lived experience'.

I hope too that the book will help to raise awareness about the reality of deep grief so that those who are grieving are always given the compassion and understanding they need.

'I thoroughly recommend this book. The honest and immediate way Vanessa tells her story makes it easy to connect with someone who knows what it feels like to grieve for a child. Add to that her really useful advice and this book is excellent'

'Love Untethered is NOT just a book for parents who have lost a child. It is a book for everyone who have ever loved - and I’m pretty sure that’s all of us'

'Skilfully written'

'A powerful story of resilience and reconnection to a life altered forever'

'Vanessa May places her hand on your chest and rips open your heart, all with boundless empathy and compassion'

'This should be a text every bereavement counsellor has to read.'

'Love Untethered enables a deeper discussion about bereavement and PTSD'

'This devastating and life-changing testimony keeps the reader glued to the page until the very end'

Reaching those who may find 'Love Untethered' helpful

Books about similar experiences to my own were really important to me in early grief. In turn, I now hope to reach as many bereaved parents as possible, as well as others who have experienced traumatic loss, and I would love you to help that happen.

You can do this by leaving a review on Amazon or wherever you buy your book from. If someone is looking for a book on 'coping with grief', 'child loss' etc and they put that into the search bar, 'Love Untethered' is more likely to come up if it has relevant reviews.

And, of course, I would love to hear what you think.

'Love Untethered' can be purchased now from the following online bookstores:

Thank you for all the love and support I have received from everyone so far x
